BMW meluncurkan prodik terbarunya untuk perdana dengan model BMW M6 Gran Coupe empat-pintu. Salah satu mol BMW baru yang masih bergabung dengan model BMW Coupe yang sudah ada dan model convertible dalam line-up, kali ini model 6 Gran Coupe Series terbaru.
Model BMW Coupe M6 baru ini memiliki beberapa kesamaan dengan varian Gran Coupe series lainnya, yang memiliki bagian atap dari bahan serat karbon "carbonfibre reinforced plastic". Tapi ada beberapa teknologi baru yang dibawa BMW M6 Gran Coupe ini, seperti mesin berkode S63Tü berkapasitas 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 dan tenaga yang dihasilkan mencapai 560 hp dengan torsi puncak 680 Nm.

- BMW M6 Gran Coupe can also be ordered with M carbon-ceramic brakes: The brake rotors measure 16.1 inches (410 mm) in diameter at the front and 15.6 inches (396 mm) at the rear.
